Here you have a selection of the botanicals that are part of the gin; Tuscan Juniper, Grapefruit Peel, Lemon Peel, Pink Peppercorns, Orris Root, Nutmeg, Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime, Almonds, Coriander, and Lavender. The Brewdog Distilling Company is an exciting new project born out of the now world famous Brewdog brewery at Ellon in Aberdeen, Scotland. Their experience in brewing has made them experts in fermentation. The distillery is one of the few in the world that also produces its own base spirit. Malted barley and wheat are fermented and distilled for the first time in a triple bubble still, the first in the world with maximum contact between liquid and copper. The result of the first distillation is distilled again in a 19 meter tall rectification column to produce the base liquor, which is then bottled after being diluted as vodka. Gins are then blended from this base. The botanicals are added to the base liquor and then redistilled in a pot still.
